Limited Edition National Park Cap Series from Banner and Oak

Limited Edition National Park Cap Series from Banner and Oak

Our first new line of caps in 2020 comes in the form of some killer leather buckle patch caps with original art celebrating some of our customers' favorite national parks.

We know we've been a little quiet lately, what with a pandemic and all it's been an interesting year to say the least. We're crawling out of the woodworks though and getting back on the trails with our first series release of 2020... National Parks.

Our U.S. National Park Collection celebrates eight of our favorite American parks. We're using our own blank stock and decorating them right here in Northwest Arkansas with etched leather patches on four timeless colors of meshback caps in our mid-crown ranger shape with a slight pre-curved bill. The hats themselves are constructed from 100% organic cotton woven into a durable canvas fabric for the front panels and visor. The caps also have a moisture wicking sweatband for those hot days on the trail. A woven brand label sits above the snapback closure.

Each patch is hand designed then loaded into our laser etching machine to build a high resolution line-art design depicting what we think is the spirit of each park. Whether it's half-dome in Yosemite or the iconic Joshua Tree (it's a member of the Agave family) of Joshua Tree National Park

The designs are original line art developed by our own Tyler Carmical, an artist and lover of our brand from day one. This is Tyler's first designs for Banner and Oak. Here's what he had to say...

I have always found inspiration in nature, and some of my fondest memories from my childhood are traveling to the National Parks with my family. The awe those scenes instilled in me from an early age are still with me, fueling my desire to create. I chose these landscapes hoping to impart some of that awe to you, and pass along that same desire to get out into our National Parks and be inspired by them. I loved working on these patches and the challenge of condensing these breathtaking natural scenes into a few simple lines. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
