'Out There' is All About Headspace
When we started Banner and Oak back in 2017, we would never have guessed that less than three years later a pandemic of epic proportions would strike the earth and uproot our society and lives as we know it.
From the beginning, our brand was about getting out and exploring the world, even if it's just the world right outside your back door. The concept of social distancing hadn't entered the world stage or even been a consideration. But what has been a key part of BAO since Day 1 is headspace. The distance you need from your everyday life, society, and reality to get centered and renew yourself. That's what 'out there' is all about whether it's a fenced-in back yard, a national park, or your very own mind. What getting out there lets you do is get the mental solitude you need to figure some things out.
Who are you? What you are about? What do you stand for? For all the terrible things this pandemic brings it also has a silver lining. It's a pause that lets us contemplate ourselves, our society, and what's right.
We hope you spend your time in quarantine wisely.
